YouTube Ads

Setting up YouTube Ads

What YouTube Ads does

YouTube Ads makes short video ads for your business and runs them on YouTube — before and during other videos, in the YouTube feed and in Shorts — and nowhere else. They run in your own Google Ads account, and Google bills you for them directly. You need no YouTube channel and no videos: Render makes them. It comes with the Ultimate and Enterprise plans. Open “YouTube Ads” in the sidebar and click “Set up YouTube Ads”. You’ll need:

  • A Google Ads account with a card added in Google’s billing — Google won’t run ads without one
  • A page on your website for the ads to open — your Brand Kit’s website unless you pick another
  • A square logo in your Brand Kit — Google shows it next to every video ad
TipNo Google Ads account yet? Click “Help me make one” under “What you need”.
