Building, changing and publishing your site, domains, forms and visitors.
Yes, on every plan. Open “AI Websites” in the sidebar, press “New site” (“Create a website” the first time), give it a name and press “Create”.
In the chat, describe the site you want or pick one of the ideas. Or choose “Rebuild my current website” and type its address: Render reads it and keeps your real details.
Render writes every page, checks it on a phone and shows it in the preview as it works. There's nothing to install, and hosting is included.
AI Websites comes with every plan, with hosting and a free address included.
Each reply in the chat uses credits for what it took, and says how many: about 25 to 100 credits for a typical change and 300 to 800 for a first site. Your plan's credits go first, then extra credits.
“Extra credits” must be switched on to build; the chat offers “Turn on” if they're off. A domain you buy in Render is charged on its own, once a year.
Ask in the chat, like “add a page with our prices” or “make it feel more premium”. To point at one part, press “Select”, click it in the preview and say what should change.
Yes. Every change is saved as a version. Press “Versions” at the top of the editor, then “Restore” on the one you want. It becomes the newest version, and nothing is lost.
Restoring changes the preview. To put it on your live site, publish again.
Press “Publish” at the top right of the editor, then “Publish”. In about a minute your site is live at its free address, like yourbusiness.render.site.
Changes after that show only in the preview. When you're ready, the button at the top reads “Update”: press it, then “Update the live site”.
“Unpublish” in the same menu takes the site offline. Nothing is deleted.
Yes, in the site's “Domains” tab.
Only the account's owner can buy a domain. Domains are charged on their own, not with your plan.
Yes. Ask for one, like “add a contact form that emails me”. What visitors send shows in the site's “Data” tab under “Sent by visitors”, and Render can email you each new one.
“Data” also holds what your site shows, like a menu or listings. Add or edit entries there, or ask Render to fill them in. “Export CSV” downloads them.
Open the site's “Analytics” tab: visitors, page views, how people found you, the pages they read, and what they tapped, like your phone number or directions. New visits show up within a minute.
“AI Websites” in the sidebar also shows visitors and form entries across your sites, under “At a glance”. Counting starts once a site is published.
Open the site's “Settings” tab → “Search and sharing”. Set the title and description Google shows, the picture people see when your link is shared, and the little icon in a browser tab.
“Hide from search engines” keeps Google from listing the site; people with the link can still open it.
These apply the next time you publish.
Your sites take a break: visitors see a short “back soon” page, and nothing is deleted. They come back as soon as your plan is active again.
Domains you bought in Render stay yours, but don't renew until your plan is back.
To delete a site for good, open “More” in its editor and choose “Delete site”. Its code, chat and form entries are deleted; a domain you bought stays yours.
