Autopilot

Render running your Meta, Google and YouTube ads, Email Outreach and Direct Mail.

What does Autopilot do?

Autopilot is Render running your marketing on its own. You set a budget and turn on the channels you want. Render launches your ads, checks results every day, pauses what isn't working, makes new versions of what is, and shows you what it did.

  • Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), Google Ads and YouTube Ads
  • Email Outreach: emails businesses that could buy from you
  • Direct Mail: postcards to homes near you

These come with Ultimate. Autopilot posting for your social accounts comes with Pro.

Do I need my own Meta or Google ad account?

For ads, yes: they run in your own accounts, and the setup walks you through making one if you don't have it.

  • Meta Ads: a Facebook Page and a Meta ad account.
  • Google Ads and YouTube Ads: a Google Ads account with a card added in Google. YouTube needs no channel or videos.
  • Email Outreach and Direct Mail need nothing extra.

Who pays for the ads, and how much should I spend?

You pay Meta and Google directly, with the card in your own ad account. Your ad spend never goes through Render.

You pick a daily budget during setup, and setup suggests a starting amount. Google Ads needs at least $5 a day and YouTube Ads at least $10. You can change it any time with “Change” next to Budget.

What does Render charge for running my ads?

Meta, Google and YouTube bill your ad spend to you directly. Render's fee is 10% of what the connected ad account spends, for running your ads every day. That's the whole account, including any campaigns you run yourself in it.

  • It's billed monthly, on its own invoice.
  • No minimum, no contract, and no fee during your free trial or while that channel is paused.
  • The ads Autopilot makes don't use your credits.

Email Outreach and Direct Mail have their own prices.

How fast will I see results?

Your first ads usually go live within a day. Real results take a few weeks while the platforms learn.

  • Google reviews new ads, usually within a business day.
  • Email Outreach sends its first emails about two weeks after you launch, once your new inboxes are warmed up.
  • Direct Mail cards arrive about 5 to 7 business days after printing.

Can I approve things before Render does them?

Yes. On Meta Ads, Google Ads and YouTube Ads, open Settings → “How Render works” and pick a level:

  • “Hands-off” (the default): Render acts, then shows you what it did.
  • “Ask me before new ads go live”: everything else runs on its own.
  • “Ask me before every change”: each change waits for your OK.

Anything waiting for you shows under “Needs you” and on Home. Direct Mail always waits for you to approve the price before anything prints.

Will Render change my budget or spend more than I set?

No. Render never changes your budget on its own. When your ads do well, it may suggest more, with its reason, and wait for your OK.

Direct Mail never goes over the budget you set, and Email Outreach never sends more emails than your monthly limit.

How do I pause or stop Autopilot?

Each channel has its own controls, and the rest of Render keeps working.

  • Pause: on the channel's page, or in its Settings → “Pause or stop”. Turn it back on the same way.
  • Stop for good: Settings → “Pause or stop” → “Stop…”. For ads, you choose whether to pause them or keep them running on their own.
  • Autopilot posting: in Social → Calendar → “Autopilot”, press “Pause”. To stop it, press “Stop Autopilot posting…” at the bottom.

Is Email Outreach safe for my business and my email address?

Render never sends from your own email address. It sets up new addresses that look like your business's name and warms them up for about two weeks first.

It emails businesses only, never consumers. Each email is short and plain, follows the email law of the country it goes to, shows your business address and lets people opt out. Render sends you only the interested replies.

What does Email Outreach cost?

$49 a month for your own sending setup, plus 5¢ for each email sent, up to the monthly limit you choose. The limit caps your bill: 1,000 emails is at most $99 a month.

The $49 is charged when you press “Launch”, even on a free trial, and your trial carries on. Pausing stops the 5¢ charges but not the $49.

Where can Direct Mail send postcards, and what does a card cost?

Right now, cards are mailed in the United States. You pay one price per card, printing and postage included: $1.40 for a 4 × 6 postcard, $1.50 for 6 × 9 and $1.70 for 6 × 11. Each address Render finds for you adds 20¢.

There's no monthly fee. You see the total and approve it before anything prints or is charged.

What happens to my running ads if I cancel?

Everything keeps running until the end of the time you've paid for. When the plan ends, Render pauses the ads it runs on Meta, Google and YouTube. They stay in your own ad accounts, paused, and the fee stops.

Email Outreach and Direct Mail stop too, and cards that haven't printed are refunded. Nothing restarts by itself.
