01How to delete your Meta data from Render
Any one of these works:
- In Render: open Meta Ads (under Autopilot in the sidebar), then Settings → Meta connection and your store → Meta logins, and choose Disconnect next to the login. Render disconnects the login at once and deletes the rest of that login’s Meta data within 30 days. (To stop just one ad account, use Settings → Pause or stop → Stop Meta Ads.)
- In Facebook: Render connects to Meta through its service provider Zernio, so Facebook may list the connection under Zernio. Removing it in Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or, for a business portfolio, in Business Settings → Integrations → Connected apps) cuts off access at once: Render can no longer see or change anything in your ad accounts, and Render stops making changes. To have Render also delete the Meta data it holds, disconnect in Render or ask us. If you connected through Render’s own Meta app (an older login), removing Render there tells us automatically: Render disconnects at once and deletes your Meta data within 30 days. If you also ask Meta to delete your data, Render deletes it immediately and Meta gives you a confirmation code you can check on this page.
- Ask us: sign in to Render and use the Support button in the top bar (or Contact support at the bottom of this page), and tell us which ad account’s Meta data, or which lead, to delete.
Deleting your Render account also revokes Render’s access to Meta at once and deletes your Meta data, normally within a day.
02What is deleted
When you disconnect in Render, delete your Render account, or (for an older login made through Render’s own Meta app) remove Render in your Facebook settings or ask Meta to delete your data, Render stops managing your ad accounts at once and disconnects the login. We then delete the Meta data we hold about your ad accounts: campaign structure, performance data, tracking checks, change history, and Render’s chats, memory and actions. That includes the leads people sent through your forms on Facebook and Instagram, the forms Render collected them from, the comments left under your ads, your Page’s access for comments, your Page’s WhatsApp number, and the copies of your own ads Render took from Meta. Ad creative Render made for you stays in your Render library without its Meta ids. Billing records of management fees are kept as the law requires. Copies in our database backups are deleted 35 days after each backup is made. Leads already emailed to you, or sent to another tool you connected, are in your inbox or that tool, not with Render.
